National Dishes of Spain
It is difficult to say that there is a national dish of Spain since the country has its own regional specialties. Historically, Spain was divided into small kingdoms; each one with own language, culture and cuisine. More often, if you visit restaurantes España you can’t determine specifically the national dishes.

City Breaks
If you are looking for a City Break these would be my top 5 recommendations - Barcelona, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam and Prague. All of them are great for a weekend city break and there are lots of cheap flights to be had at the moment to get you to them. Helps with the January Blues to get something booked and these places I can highly recommend.

Lodging accommodation Barcelona
The origin of HOTELES CENTRO CIUDAD (“city centre hotels”) is to be found in the St. Moritz hotel in 1993 and its then manager, Joan Asensio Ros, not as a hotel chain but as an association of city centre hotels who came together with the aim of being able to cope better than they would individually with the flow of bookings for this part of Barcelona from whatever source

RTW2007: Barcelona
I'll start with a confession: before this trip, I had never visited Barcelona before, and in fact the entirety of my Spanish experience was limited to a visit to Madrid almost 20 years ago. Plan A was Dubai, cancelled on account of intolerably hot weather this time of year, but despite everybody I talked to urging me to visit Barcelona my impression prior to visiting had, somehow, been largely negative: dirty, crumbling, expensive, full of scams and ripoffs, and above all filled with ravenous pickpockets.
Things to do in Barcelona
I'm heading out to Barcelona at the end of August, and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for things to do/see there beyond the usual touristy stuff that's there! I know all about the Sagrada Famillia, and although I do plan to visit, I'd love to see/do some things that aren't quite so well known! Also, please tell me any quirky bars/hotels/restaurants you've been to and would recommend! I'm doing this on a pretty tight budget, so if the suggestions were for cheap (or free!) places that's a bonus!
Earthquakes, Gamblers, Pirates and Oysters: Around the World in 60 Days
It all started with an excuse. I "needed" to visit a conference of marginal utility (but serious potential for fun) in Puerto Rico, which would be located 11913 miles away from Singapore if there was a non-stop flight, which there of course isn't.
