Odense to Copenhagen

Yesterday doesn't sound like much: got up, checked out of the hotel, caught the train back to Copenhagen and settled in at User:Elgaard's place, but it took *all* day...

Odense: Day 3

We were all up in time for breakfast this morning, so we must be adjusting finally. After some yogurt, bread, cheese, and fruit I took Amita out to visit the farmers market, convienently just outside the hotel. It was cute, in the same way that all farmers markets are cute, but nothing special. The only thing that made it different than a similar event in, say Geneva or Santa Cruz was the number of oversized baby prams -- some with 3 toddlers in them.

We were up a bit in the middle of the night, here in Odense alternatively consoling and entertaining the babe, so I wasn't that surprised when we were woken up by housekeeping rapping on the door at 9:30am. I jumped out of bed and into the shower still more asleep than awake and managed to stumble down to the conference only 45 minutes late. Luckily for me it was a very interesting morning -- and there was a 10am coffee & danish break.

Evan was up before the crack of dawn this morning, partly by design and partly due to jet lag. He left early with the vast majority of our luggage to make the opening of the Wikisym conference which I hung out with sleeping babe. I didn' dare go back to sleep for fear of waking up at 4pm again, so I fussed with our nicely appointed room and made myself a couple cups of compimentary freeze-dried decaf coffee. Amita finally woke up around 830 and we grabbed some cheeses and breads for breakfast.
