Good Morning Vietnam ... ;)

First article on Vietnam!
Let's start by Hanoi, where we landed on 24/01. Check in the rain and the froidm ca change! First impressions: ca contrasts with the calm of Vientiane here because the traffic is rather chaotic and hurts the ears! Horn blows constantly, also impossible to walk on sidewalks because they are covered by either WINDOWS or they serve as parking a scooter!
We ride in Hanoi, in the rain ... (it was the style!)
... first in the old quarter of the corporations or we log each street has its specialty. There are street pharmacists, garages, cardboard or fabric ... In short, it is here that ca grouille a long time.
It will be restored in the diner buffet ... with Vietnamese!
We also walk by the lake or we take the opportunity to eat an ice cream made by a former student of ours: cinnamon perfume, green tea from Japan and rice, delicious!
Visit the monuments of the city, with among others the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the Opera and the Museum of the Revolution or you learn more about the French colonial presence and the Vietnam War. Passage au marche bien sur ...
The architecture of the city is quite special: the buildings are long and high. Rarely exceeds the width of a piece.
Along the Bay: No luck once again at the time! But one can imagine even before leaving France, it rains in northern Vietnam at this time! we reach the sun farther south!
The small town where we lodge has all the air of a seaside resort with large hotels and restaurants for tourists along the beach. The advantage of this time of year is that there is not a cat in the streets! We reserve our place for an excursion of 4 hours in the bay, with lunch on the boat. We were finally 4. In high season the bay should be full of boats! The arrival on the site is like our beautiful island of Porquerolles!

We visit a cave, one full of Chinese tourists, then passos boat a floating village of fishermen. It was wonderful to see these homes in the middle of these large loaves of sugar water!
We reach then Hanoi mini bus (sporty driving and 'noisy'...) then take a night bus to our next destination: Hue. Sympa bus comfortable sleeping at night!
Hue, former imperial city has great charm, is the only inhabited citadel in Vietnam. We rent a bike to visit the citadel and enjoy the apartment of the imperial palace who escaped the U.S. bombing.
Here we are before the flag that was popularized by American television during the war. The Vietcong flag will float 68 during the Tet offensive was the symbol of the resistance of the Vietnamese.
Other walks: the Perfume River, or the local market.
New stage of our journey: Hoi An, very cute little town full of colors, this time batisses broader and style mixes with Vietnamese and Japanese colonial influences. The result: a small Italian air islands of Murano and Burano off Venice.

Still no sun here in Hoi An, but we find pleasant temperatures and we can go out in a new tee-shirt and tongues!
Small evenings sipping a nice cocktail 1euro along river. We meet young English, Australian and quebecois in the bar part of the city with whom we have disputes parts of billiards and table football. The opportunity to share on travel and be aware that many attempts as we experience and take off throughout the years.
The next day we got up easily ... a 5.30 in the morning to go watch the fishing boats returning to port and FeMn nogociant the price of fish on the market. Beau spectable qui vaut le coup shorten your night!
The morning after first contact with the China Sea, we rent bicycles to go to the beach 4km from the center.
Not much the world either, we are in low season and the sun is not there. The bike ride is nice and gives us the opportunity of rice along with green color is vibrant.
We discover once again the local specialties such as Cao Lau, a kind of noodle soup with salad, mint, bean sprouts and fried rice crepes cut in squares, the white rose, shrimp ravioli soupoudres and other dried fruit like a big hairy litchi.
Tonight we take the night bus to Dalat, a new step by the mountain, it seems that the clinat tempere allows the cultivation of vines and the production of a rather good wine, you taste it!
We therefore believe our Making yourself a little original route to be a Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) for the Chinese New Year to be held February 6. As a precaution we have made a room reservation by telephone, there may be the world's HCMC!
