The "Coolest Riad in Marrakech" lives up to it's name in more ways than one. The lower floor offers pleasant relief from the daytime heat of the city and the whole Riad is comfortable , relaxing and welcoming. The facilities are everything you would expect and more with plenty of comfortable seating, a cool jacuzzi and quiet spots to relax. What really makes this place special are the amazing staff, Oliver, Said, Amin ( the only Rasta in Marrakech ) ! and the ladies Malika and Touriya who are always there for you without being intrusive and are more than willing to help with anything from arranging Doctor's visits to trips to the Atlas and even going out and buying yogurt when I fancied some ! Dinner is available upon request and is delicious, especially the giant cous-cous royale ! Oliver, the owner, is a genuinely nice guy - he is lively , has much to say ( all amusing ) and really means for his Riad to be your home while you are there . We can honestly say that this is how it felt to stay here, if only hosts and staff were this good all over the world !!! "Outstanding!!!” I had the pleasure of staying @ Dar Najat while visiting Marrakech for the first time. I will not be able to say enough good things about my stay at this Riad. From the moment that I arrived I was treated like family and immediately made to feel welcome. This included offering me a beverage and having the entire town laid out for me on a map and the "must see's" and "don't do's'" of a trip to Marrakech. My room, albeit a bit small was perfectly decorated, intimate and contained all that I needed. All of the rooms encircle an open-aired courtyard which adds to the intimacy and feeling of togetherness amongst you and the other guests. Breakfast & drinks are served on the rooftop garden (and the jacuzzi!) and you always feel welcomed. It is perfectly located within the Old City and a 5 minute walk to the center of the Medina and the Souk Markets. You can read the tour-books on what to see or do while in Marrakech, but if you are going to doing the "tourist" thing, then there is no better place to stay other than Dar Najat. This Riad has an excellent reputation within the town, and restuaranteurs and taxi-drivers alike all spoke highly of the place.  We stayed at this beautiful riad with our two daughters for four days and were very well looked after. There are very many good things to say about our stay last week, starting with the excellent email communication from Oliver, the owner, before we arrived.  Dar Najat provides a special combination of great service and comfort, making it very easy to relax. I agree with other reviews that it does feel like staying with friends- It was obvious that the staff genuinely cares about you, they make themselves available but also respect your space and privacy and that’s not easy to pull off. We never had to ask more than once for anything we wanted. Service was always friendly, fast and efficient with the staff putting themselves out for us on more than one occasion. Though seamless on the surface, I know that being able to provide this kind of guest experience actually takes hard work and great communication between the team of staff.  The location is really good- about 5-10 minutes walk from the main square but in a quiet and safe spot. The roof terrace with its new top deck is a peaceful place to spend time. There’s plenty of lush greenery around and parasols to give you shade if you want a break from the sunshine. The free Wi-Fi was a welcome bonus too. The girls stayed in a twin room on the first floor which had higher ceilings than ours on the ground floor and therefore felt more airy. The riad is very clean and well looked after. The bathrooms have everything you need and the showers are powerful with plenty of constant hot water. Even little touches like decent quality hangers and bottled water showed good attention to detail. We’ve returned feeling we had more than 4 days away because we relaxed so quickly and were well looked after in a special place. We’ve been lucky to stay in a few of the best hotels in the world and Dar Najat is right there up at the top with those in terms of how well we were cared for. It’s not an easy place to leave.”

I would recommend this place to anyone who like to come back to their hostel for a relaxing and causy evening after a long and crazy day in Marrakech.This Riad was everything I expected, even more!- Great roof top terrasse with lots of sunny / shady spots- Very friendly staff to have a drink with when you feel like it. We had very interesting and funny conversations. Otherwise, very discret (like when I had to work for a conference).- Good breakfast and dinner- Nice ambiance and music- They give great tips, walk you to where you have to go when you need (they make sure you don't get lost), and they also have a driver, Abdul, that drives very carefully. :)

We had a wonderful experience at this riad! The staff were very friendly and helpful, both pointing us to places and activities in the city and with service around the riad. The food was probably the best we had while in Morocco, although the other places to eat that were recommended to us by the staff were also very good. The atmosphere is really relaxed, and we were made to feel at home. Also worth noting that the location is very good (about five minutes walk from the main square). Will be recommending to family and friends.

the riad is a haven of peace in the middle of marrakechthe staff were fantastic and friendly, the service was greatthe rooms were well decorated and very clean,breakfasts were good and i would especially recommend the tagines if you were having an evening mealits well placed for the northern and southern visitor elements in the medinawe loved it, as did other guests
