Voting

So this digg-y new voting thing seems spiffy, and IMHO also more practical/userfriendly than star ratings; will they now be dropped? After all, getting a lot of one-star ratings would be depressing, but not getting voted up just means that your blog entry is being unfairly ignored... But how is the "Drupalit Hottest" listing on the main page going to work? Because if it just shows the highest votes ever, I'd imagine it'll be a pretty static list.

Stars & digs

I agree that the Dig-voting is a lot sleeker and more informative than the fivestar rating. I'm phasing out the fivestar thingy (let me know if I've missed any).

We can set the Drupallit blocks to be "all time" "this week" "this month" "today" etc. I just went with all-time to start. I'll swap it out for weekly? And maybe provide a couple of different views to get a real dig-like interface.

Removed five star & added more voting results

I found the last (?) fivestar ratings and removed them from forum posts.

I've also changed the main page block to display 'recently popular' plus a link to a full page with a bunch of different opens (week, month, all time, recent, etc...).

Let me know if this is a good start.

five-star

I think I found a latent five-star here: http://extra.wikitravel.org/node/768

Should I give myself five stars before it's too late? ;-)

sneaky outside blogs

Got it... thanks.
